Mon Ami Interactive Makes Its International Debut at GodotCon Amsterdam with Something Meaningful

On April 23 and 24, 2026, Amsterdam hosted GodotCon, the official event organized by the Godot Foundation, bringing together the global engine community for talks, workshops, and game showcases. Among the projects selected for the showcase area was Something Meaningful, an open-neighborhood RPG developed by Santa Catarina-based studio Mon Ami Interactive.

Ian Aguiar, Mon Ami Interactive's representative at the event, summed up what the participation means: "Seeing people's interest in Something Meaningful here in Amsterdam confirms what we already believed: Brazilian games have a place on the international scene and we're on the right track."

The Santa Catarina studio's presence at GodotCon also reflects what the Godot Engine represents for independent developers around the world. As an free and open-source engine, it levels the playing field, allowing small teams like the Florianópolis trio behind Mon Ami Interactive to develop projects with quality and ambition comparable to those of much larger studios.

Something Meaningful does not yet have a confirmed release date, but it is already available to be added to your wishlist on Steam.
