Pre-Pitch Day: talent, innovation, and a celebration of Santa Catarina’s game industry

From August 22 to 24, ASCJogos helped promote a journey of learning and celebration that brought together the game development community of Santa Catarina.

On August 22, the Pre-Pitch Day took place in partnership with Sebrae and FLIC, at Sebrae’s headquarters in Florianópolis. The meeting aimed to prepare developers for the official Pitch Day, providing an environment for practice and presentation improvement.

During the event, participants had the opportunity to train their pitches and receive feedback from professionals in the field, strengthening their communication and project structuring skills.

The five highlighted projects from the Pre-Pitch Day were:

• Skull Jones – Lucas Eduardo (Retro Raptor)

• Sunny Trails – Angela Vieira (Plot Kids)

• Kaclak – Diego Rodrigues (Kajiurium)

• Kaardik – Daniel Lima (Tropical Tempo Games)

• Cards On Adventure – Cainã Correa Caldas (Tails Game Dev)

On August 23, during the Pitch Day, held in partnership with the Dev Night event, the five selected projects were presented again, now incorporating the feedback provided by the judges. From these presentations, three projects were chosen to be awarded on August 24, when they took the stage at STUN to celebrate their achievements:

• 1st place: Skull Jones – Lucas Eduardo (Retro Raptor)

• 2nd place: Sunny Trails – Angela Vieira (Plot Kids)

• 3rd place: Kaclak – Diego Rodrigues (Kajiurium)
