Southern Brazil Game Associations Strengthen Industry Collaboration at Gamescom Latam

Gamescom Latam served as the stage for an important moment of dialogue and collective action for Southern Brazil’s game development ecosystem. On April 30, representatives from the game industry associations of Santa Catarina, Paraná, and Rio Grande do Sul gathered for the Southern States Associations Panel, a strategic discussion focused on the challenges, opportunities, and future of the regional games industry.

Representing ASCJogos, President Leonardo Bilck and Executive Director Giovanna Kalkmann participated in the panel, sharing insights on industry development, institutional strengthening, and the importance of collaboration among regional organizations.

The discussion also featured Bernardo Filgueiras from ACJogosPR and Eduardo Prass from ADJogos, who contributed their perspectives and experiences, highlighting initiatives and opportunities that can further support the growth of the games industry across Southern Brazil.

More than just a conversation, the panel demonstrated the strength of cooperation between associations, professionals, and companies, emphasizing how regional collaboration can create new opportunities, foster connections, and accelerate the development of the gaming sector.

The initiative reinforced the role of state associations in supporting and representing the industry, while showcasing how a united ecosystem can drive greater visibility, impact, and sustainable growth for game development in Brazil.

ASCJogos remains committed to building connections, fostering partnerships, and contributing to the continued growth of the games industry in Santa Catarina and throughout Southern Brazil.
